Howard Johnson by Wyndham Scott Lafayette

If you have doubts on where to stay in Lafayette/Scott, look no further. Clean, large rooms and quiet. Staff is friendly and very helpful. My room was an 80's retro theme with a huge bed and flat screen TV. It was cold and rainy out. I was in my room for most of my two day stay. I went and got some cajun food, from which there are many close by restaurants. I walked to the gas station be hind the parking lot for drinks, room has microwave and refrigerator, I felt safe walking here at night. The price is great, I believe it's never over $99, which is during peak season. Plus, breakfast in the morning. You get a lot of hotel for a low price. I checked matress, no bed bugs or strange orders. Thank you, Howard Johnsons, for a wonderful stay.

My first two nights was very nice. Was able to get away. Had my little dog with me which was very nice. Gives me the security I need when I'm by myself. Was going to stay another night or two. Boyfriend has a room in the same hotel. Would like to stay in his room. Was told his room was not pet friendly. Would like to know if this was possible to have myself and my little dog stay in his room as well. If not I will have him stay in my room. Thank you very much, for all your help and assistance. I ain't complaining. Love this one. At first, we couldn't get a smoking room, but then they helped us get one. I had a very relaxing stay here. There's not only restaurants across the street but there's also a bar. Perfect place to stay if you're budgeting. Not bad for something cheap. May be boring most of the time, but hey at least they are respectful and polite. Probably gonna come back.

Shae at the front desk was so sweet. I went to the wrong location at first and when I asked for help the guy said he didn’t know how the give me directions to the other. After using gps I was literally 11 mins away from the right one. I explained to Shae what happened and she was so pleasant and understanding. I booked this room for my mom and I to come celebrate my twin son’s 25th birthday. The room was clean and comfortable. And certainly in a better part of town compared to the first location. So be careful when booking. The only problem I saw was the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly. It had black mode inside the actual toilet bowl. That’s a housekeeping issue for sure. The housekeeping supervisor is not doing a good job on her inspections. Yes, we cleaned it ourselves. Other than that the experience was friendly and pleasant. You can walk to fast food restaurants and a gas station. They have a limited breakfast selection but it hit the hunger spot. Thank you Shae for showing Moma and I excellent costumer service. The accommodations were well-appointed and spacious, with a nightly rate of less than $100. The pool was immaculately maintained, and the bathrooms, along with the linens, were spotless.

I enjoy my stay will be going back soon the staff is very kind nice to talk to the rooms are Clean and comfortable the service is good no complaints

They were wonderful people. The only thing was the sink was not all cleaned and the floor needed vacuuming under the tv. But it was clean. I did wipe it with Clorox wipes bc I do that everywhere I still sense Covid. This is not complaining just pointing out stuff I noticed. Thank y'all so very must we will be back! Have a wonderful day. God Bless We ate boiled crabs outside and put the shells in the trash can outside by the pool.

We enjoyed our stay. Walking distance for great restaurants. Too bad breakfast was toast and cereal. Not proteins at all. But Huddle House was very good.
